Dear Brothers and Sisters,

  Greetings to you in the most matchless name of Jesus Christ.

  It gives me an immense pleasure and joy to inform everyone that the Golden Jubilee celebration of TELUGU BAPTIST CHURCH was a testament of faith, perseverance, and divine guidance over the past 54 years. As a Church we express our gratitude for all the blessings received thus far. It also serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring impact of a life dedicated to serving God and others.

  As we go through the history of Christianity in our land, we get to hear the narration of hardships, persecution and miseries. We are what we are because of those who stood their ground unto death.

  I also take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and assistance since we began our journey together. Your commitment and dedication to our cause has been nothing short of extraordinary.

  I also like to extend my sincere thank to all the members for their continued support and prayers. Your collective efforts have made a significant difference to our Church. I also look forward to continuing the Lord’s work together.

OUR HISTORY

• CHURCH – 2014.

  Telugu Baptist Church is located at Ramachandrapuram, Jalahalli in the city of Bangalore. The church was built in the year 1970 with a sitting capacity of 50 people. Being the first Baptist church to be built in this area, it is also considered as the mother church of all the Baptist church in and around this area.

  During and after the renovations, the population in Bangalore city grew larger every day. The church in its mission to propagate the gospel conducted several crusades throughout the years and won souls to Jesus thus making the membership at Telugu Baptist Church to grow from 20 in 1970 to 350 till date.

  The church is now small and cannot accommodate all the members. Some members of the church are forced to worship while standing outside the church building. During the rainy season the situation is worse as it disrupts the worship service and impedes hearing as those standing outside will run and squeeze inside to avoid the rain.

  Also children who always worship outside the church are the most affected during both the rainy and dry seasons as they are forced to shift from one place to another to avoid the scorching sun and the rain. We do not have a proper place for the children's church. Due to this problem the church members have embarked on a new church construction project with a sitting capacity of 500.
